If you already have too many event t-shirts, we recommend you to choose the ECO package. If you want to get a MIZUNO event t-shirt, we recommend the PREMIUM package!

KINDER JOY OF MOVING KÖLYÖK KÖRÖK – CHILDREN’S COMPETITION
– Family Race – 1 km
– 6-8/9-11 years old – 2 km
– 12-14 years old – 3 km

PRIZE – RUNNING
All finishers within the level time will receive an individual finish medal.
Absolute 1st to 3rd place finishers in each category will receive a trophy and a Maratonman race entry voucher to use towards the next Maratonman event!
Individual competitors who slip out of the level time will be awarded a RESPECT medal at the finish area. Details of the RESPECT medal are set out in point 29 of the race rules.

Support for Families in Need
As in previous years, you will have the opportunity to support a charitable cause, with a donation of 500 Forints per registration. This year’s goal is to assist families in need through the Human Safety Net program.

CUT OFF TIME
– 55 minutes for the 6 km race
– 1 hour 20 minutes for the 11 km Headlamp Race
– 1 hour 20 minutes for the 11 km race
Closing time at the end of the half marathon distance.

(Finish medals will not be awarded to competitors who finish outside the level time and will not be included in the results list)

CLOSE BUS
After the last start, a closing bus will run at the end of the field to pick up any runners who have slipped out of the level time for safety reasons.

We want you to join us at as many of our events as possible, so we especially appreciate your loyalty!

  • For three 2025 Marathonman events with online or cash entries, we will give away an individual entry for the 2025 Ultrabalaton Trail Koloska Trail, 5 or 11.5 kilometres! For all information about our Burger King Ultrabalaton Trail race, click HERE. We need cash when organizing races, as many expenses have to be arranged on the spot, so we especially appreciate if you settle your choice of three entries in cash at our race office, in which case you can choose a MIZUNO t-shirt from our older event t-shirts!

To enter, you must have a Personal Profile, which you can create by clicking HERE – if you don’t have one already.
Your details can be changed at any time, please make sure that your name is saved according to the Hungarian rules, i.e. LAST NAME in front, first name in back.
This is relevant for registrations via Facebook and Gmail.

CONTACT
In order to maintain the quality of the event, the maximum number of participants in 2025 will be 4000.

ABOUT ENTRY FEES
The amounts are expressed in gross amounts and in Hungarian forints.
Up to the day of the actual race, a 20% discount on the price for the period will be granted to competitors under 18 and over 65. When picking up the start package, a photo ID proving age is required. The duration of the
current price band always applies to the time of payment, not to the time of entry!

If paying in cash, the entrant may choose one of the previous years’ souvenirs, subject to availability! For gift t-shirts, we cannot offer a full range of sizes, and we have limited quantities of previous years’, headlamps also available, so the promotion is subject to remaining stock. Thank you for your understanding!

ATTENTION
We are not able to accept postal cheques. If the entry fee is paid by postal cheque, it will be refunded immediately. The entry fee must be paid in one lump sum (not per batch of bills in the case of bills of exchange). We can only issue an invoice to the name and address given at registration, it is not possible to split an invoice within a batch of bills of exchange. Any fees received separately will be refunded to the sender after deduction of bank charges!

The MIZUNO T-shirt in the picture is only an illustration, the graphic design of the 2024 T-shirt will be presented later! The colour and graphics are a secret for now.

The start packs will be available for pick up in the days before the race at our race office at 1134 Budapest Tüzér utca 9-11 or on the day of the race at the venue. We recommend that you do not leave the pick-up of your race number to the last minute!

IMPORTANT: FOR THE RUNNING NUMBERS, THE ON-SITE REGISTRATION AND THE STARTING BUNCH CLOSES HALF AN HOUR BEFORE THE START OF THE RACE ON THE DAY OF THE RACE, PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME, AS WE WILL NOT ISSUE A STARTING PACKET AFTER THAT!

DATE
The race will be chip timed, net time – so it doesn’t matter when you cross the start line. It is possible that a runner who finishes after you will finish ahead of you on the results list!

REFRESHMENT
BioTechUSA will provide the full refreshment for the Maratonman Series 2024 in Budapest!
The product range is available by clicking HERE.

WE DO NOT USE PLASTIC OR PAPER DISPOSABLE CUPS AT REFRESHMENT POINTS IN OUR COMPETITIONS.  We adopt the tried and tested slogan and method used in cross-country races.  We provide refreshments in the cups, canteens or drinking containers you have with you! In order to avoid congestion at the refreshment points, we will provide longer stops than before and set up a sufficient number of ECO refreshment tables, already tested in the 2021 season. You will be able to buy both isotonic drinks and water for yourselves, so that together we can drastically REDUCE the LITTER generated at our events!

Prizes will be awarded at the results ceremony only. We kindly ask the podium finishers to honour the race and their competitors by being present in person and punctual at the results ceremony.  Prizes will not be given or posted to those who are
late for the announcement of results.

MEDICAL SUPERVISION
The field will be accompanied by a medical team, their phone number is on the start number. Please keep a close eye out for runners in trouble during the race. If the medical staff considers that a runner is unfit to continue, they may remove his/her number and disqualify him/her from the race.

PHOTOS
Your photos will be taken by professional photographers from Futófotó and will be available for viewing and purchase on futofoto.hu during the week following the race!

FINALLY, THE RUNNING LABEL

  • On the runway, run on the right and always overtake from the left.
  • Let the faster runner pass you.
  • Choose the right start zone for your running ability, we measure net time, so it doesn’t matter when you cross the start line.
  • Keep the race centre, the course and after the refreshment stations clean (put energy bars and gel packs in the bins).
  • If you smoke, respect your fellow runners by smoking only in designated areas in the race centre.
  • Always wear your race number to distinguish you from those who start the race without an entry – they will be removed from the race area.

The organiser reserves the right to change the programme and the call for entries.
